In the previous article, we covered basic strategies that are preferable for players who are getting familiar with the game. If you already are, here we’ll jump to the next level with three more advanced strategies.
Starting from the easiest, best craps strategy is:
6/8 Craps Strategy
This is a progressive betting strategy. The payout odds are 7:6, and the house edge is 1.52%. The player places the bet on 6 and 8. If the dice land on 6 or 8, they pull their profits and make a bet again. If the result of the roll is any other number, the player places the bet again, this time increasing the amount they’re betting, usually by double.
Odds Strategy
This is a mathematical strategy with no house edge. The player bets that the shooter will roll a 7 before 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. This bet can only be placed after the point has been made.
Press Strategy
It is also known as Press and Pull. It has a 7:6 payout odds. After the Place Bet lands (which is similar to the Odds Bet we previously covered, but no pass line bet is required here), the player presses (or doubles) their bet and pulls the profit after the bet has landed four times.
