wilt chamberlain 100 point game

It’s March 2nd, 1962. The New York Knicks and the Philadelphia Warriors are playing a regular-season game at the Hershey Sports Arena in Pennsylvania. This game features numerous NBA stars, but the biggest is the 7’ 1” Philadelphia Warriors center Wilt Chamberlain.

He’s a dominant force on both sides of the court and one of the most athletic players in the league. The Warriors big man is the best scorer and rebounder this season. Earlier this season, Chamberlain broke the record for most points ever scored in a single game (78).

The game begins, and from the start, it looks like Wilt will give an impressive performance once again. He finishes the 1st quarter with 23 points. By halftime, he already has 41 points. Then, at the end of the 3rd quarter, he scores 28 more points. The game isn’t even over, and Wilt has already broken his record for the most points scored in a single NBA game. The 4th quarter is underway, and with 46 seconds left on the clock, Wilt scores his 100th point of the game. Aside from scoring 100 points, Wilt also grabbed an impressive 25 rebounds.

Interestingly, since 1962, no one has broken Wilt’s impressive record, and no one probably will.
